Committed To Safeguarding

We are committed to safeguarding

Bright Future Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. In line with our policy on safeguarding, it is the responsibility of every member of our learning community to safeguard our learners. This is geared towards ensuring that Bright Future Academy is and remains a safe and secure learning environment for our students to grow into confident and successful citizens of society. With this in mind, all teaching and administrative staff are expected to complete Educare Level 2 Safeguarding. Before COVID, all teaching and support staff completed the Department for Quality Assurance Child Protection and Case Management Course. Recently, all Senior Leaders, Nurses, and Counsellor took the  Safeguarding Training. We expect all staff, volunteers, and visitors to share this commitment.

Safeguarding Policies

Our policies and training create an open environment where staff and pupils can raise concerns with knowledge of the fact that they will be appropriately listened to, with appropriate action taken. Everyone is expected to contribute to making this a Bright Future culture of safeguarding.
